Red Cross Standard First Aid & CPR

First Aid

This course includes Standard First Aid, CPR and Automated External Defibrillator (AED). The CPR certification includes one- and two-person rescue for infants, children and adults. This course meets Alberta and Saskatchewan Occupational Health & Safety Requirements and is valid for three years. Other levels of CPR are available upon request (HCP, Level A, etc.)

Recertification:
Recertification for students with a VALID Standard Red Cross Certificate is available. Please ensure that a recertification meets the requirements for your employer or other application, as some students may be required to take a full course every three years. To successfully complete a recertification course, qualified students must already be well-versed and familiar with the information to be prepared to correctly demonstrate the skills and techniques. Recertifications are available on Day 1 of any Standard First Aid / CPR course; however, limited numbers of recertification students can be accepted.
